Stars — The Difuzzion Currency
Stars (★) are the currency that powers everything on Difuzzion. You can purchase Stars in packs of different sizes: 100★ ($1.50), 1,000★ ($13.50), 5,000★ ($60), or 10,000★ ($100). Payments are handled securely through Stripe, a trusted global payment processor — you can pay with any major credit or debit card. Once purchased, Stars appear in your Wallet immediately and are ready to use for tipping, subscribing, promoting content, activating PRO, or anything else on the platform.
Stars are designed to be a straightforward, transparent currency with predictable value. The exchange rate is approximately 100 Stars per $1 USD, though the exact rate varies slightly depending on the pack size — larger packs offer a better rate per Star. Stars can be earned through mission rewards, receiving tips from other users, subscription payments from your subscribers, and your share of promotion revenue. There is no way to generate Stars outside of these mechanisms, which keeps the economy balanced and fair.
Redeem Codes
Redeem codes are prepaid gift cards that you can purchase for the same prices as regular Star packs. Once you have a code, go to your Wallet and enter it in the redeem section. The Stars will be added to your balance instantly. Each code can only be used once — once someone redeems it, it's no longer valid for anyone else. Gift cards are a great way to give Stars to friends or fellow creators on the platform.
Redeem codes are generated as unique, single-use alphanumeric strings. They are available for purchase from your Wallet in the same pack sizes as regular Star purchases. Once generated, you can share the code with anyone — the recipient simply enters it in their own Wallet to claim the Stars. For security, each code can only be redeemed once and is permanently invalidated after use. If you are buying a code as a gift, share it through a private, trusted channel to prevent someone else from using it first. Codes do not expire, so the recipient can redeem them whenever they are ready.
Tipping Creators
Tipping is a direct way to support creators whose content you love. You can send any amount of Stars to a creator, starting from a minimum of 10★. When you tip someone, the creator receives 90% of the Stars and 10% goes to the platform to help keep Difuzzion running. Tips are instant — the creator sees the Stars in their balance right away. It's one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to show appreciation for someone's work.
You can tip creators directly from their profile page or from any piece of their content. The tip button is prominently displayed, and you simply choose the amount of Stars you want to send (minimum 10★). The creator immediately sees the tip reflected in their wallet balance. Tips are a powerful way to build direct relationships with creators you admire — many creators acknowledge tips publicly or through direct messages. From the creator side, tips are one of the most rewarding forms of income because they represent genuine appreciation from individual fans.
Subscribing to Creators
Subscribing to a creator costs 500★ ($5) per month and gives you access to exclusive content that the creator has made visible only to subscribers. The creator receives 90% of the subscription, and the remaining 10% goes to the platform. Your subscription lasts for 30 days from when you activate it. If you subscribe again while time is still left, the extra days are added to your existing subscription — nothing is wasted. Subscribing is a great way to support your favourite creators while getting access to content nobody else can see.
Managing your subscriptions is straightforward. From your Wallet, you can see all your active subscriptions and when each one expires. When a subscription is about to end, you will receive a notification reminding you to renew. Subscriptions do not auto-renew — you always choose manually whether to resubscribe, so there are no surprise charges. If you subscribe again before your current period ends, the remaining days carry over. As a creator offering subscriber-only content, you can see how many active subscribers you have from your analytics dashboard.
Earning from Promotions
When other users promote their content, those promotions are displayed to users across the platform. Creators whose feeds display promoted content earn a 20% cut of what the promoter is paying. The earnings are shared among active creators based on their level and engagement. This means that the more active and popular a creator is on Difuzzion, the more they can passively earn from promotions — without having to do anything extra beyond creating and sharing their own content.
Promotion revenue is distributed to creators whose feeds display the promoted content. The 20% creator share is based on actual impressions served — the more times a promotion appears on your feed pages, the more you earn. You do not need to do anything special to earn from promotions; it happens passively as long as you are an active creator. Your promotion earnings are visible in your transaction history under the Promotions category. As the platform grows and more users run promotions, this passive income stream becomes increasingly valuable for established creators.
Cashing Out
When you're ready to turn your Stars into real money, go to your Wallet and request a withdrawal. Withdrawals are only available for users who have unlocked and activated monetisation features. Enter the amount you want to withdraw and submit the request. The Difuzzion team will review it and process the payment through Stripe. You'll receive a notification once it's been processed. The entire process is tracked in your transaction history, so you can always check the status of your withdrawal.
To withdraw your Stars, you need to have a connected Stripe account. If you have not set one up yet, the platform will guide you through the process when you first request a withdrawal. Stripe handles identity verification and bank account setup — this is a legal requirement for processing financial transactions. Once your Stripe account is verified and connected, you can request withdrawals at any time. The Difuzzion team reviews each withdrawal request to prevent fraud, and processing typically takes a few business days. The conversion rate is approximately 100★ = $1 USD.
Types of Transactions
Your Wallet keeps a complete record of every transaction on your account:
- Purchases — when you buy Stars.
- PRO Mode — when you activate your PRO subscription.
- Tips — Stars you send to or receive from other users.
- Subscriptions — when you subscribe to a creator.
- Promotions — Stars spent or earned through content promotion.
- Withdrawals — when you cash out your Stars.
You can filter your transaction history by type to isolate purchases, tips, subscriptions, promotions, or withdrawals. Each transaction shows the date, amount, type, and relevant details (like the username of the person who tipped you or the content involved). This history gives you a complete financial picture of your Difuzzion account and is useful for tracking earnings over time, understanding where your income comes from, and verifying that all transactions are correct.
Platform News
The News section is where the Difuzzion team posts official announcements — things like new features, policy updates, maintenance windows, community events, and more. News is visible to everyone, whether or not you're logged in, so you can always stay up to date with what's happening on the platform. Check it regularly so you don't miss out on important changes or opportunities.
Difuzzion is an actively evolving platform, and the team regularly announces changes that may affect how you use it. Feature launches, policy updates, scheduled maintenance windows, and community events are all communicated through the News section. We recommend checking it regularly to stay informed. Important announcements may also appear as in-app notifications to make sure critical information reaches everyone promptly.
Fees & Commissions
Difuzzion applies a transparent platform fee to most creator-to-creator transactions. Here is the complete breakdown:
- Tips — the creator receives 90%, Difuzzion retains 10%.
- Subscriptions — the creator receives 90%, Difuzzion retains 10%.
- Promotions — 20% goes to the creator whose feed displayed the promotion, 80% goes to the platform to fund operations and development.
- Star Purchases — no additional fee beyond the pack price.
- Withdrawals — Stripe may apply its own processing fees on top of the converted amount.
The fee structure is designed to be significantly lower than what most traditional platforms charge. Many competitor platforms take 30–50% of creator earnings; Difuzzion keeps its take to 10% on tips and subscriptions, ensuring that the vast majority of every transaction goes directly to the creator. This supports a fairer creative economy where creators keep more of what they earn.
Frozen Stars
When you earn Stars from tips, subscriptions, or promotion revenue, those Stars enter a frozen state for 180 days before they become fully available for withdrawal. During this validation period, the Stars are visible in your wallet under a separate Frozen balance and cannot be withdrawn — but they can still be spent normally on the platform for tipping, subscriptions, promotions, or PRO activation.
The 180-day freeze exists to protect the platform against fraud, chargebacks, and abuse. If a payment is reversed by a bank (a chargeback), the corresponding Stars can be reclaimed from the frozen balance without impacting innocent creators. Once the 180-day period passes without issues, the Stars transition from frozen to available and can be withdrawn. This system ensures that creators who receive legitimate payments can count on those earnings being safe and final.
Stripe Connect
Difuzzion partners with Stripe — one of the leading global payment processors — to handle all financial transactions. Stripe Connect is the technology that lets creators receive withdrawals directly to their bank accounts. When you first request a withdrawal, you will be guided through Stripe onboarding, which includes verifying your identity and connecting a bank account or debit card.
Stripe onboarding requires providing personal identification (such as a government-issued ID) to comply with financial regulations (KYC — Know Your Customer). This information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on Difuzzion servers. Once your Stripe account is verified, the connection is permanent — you will not need to go through the process again. Stripe supports creators in most countries worldwide and handles currency conversion automatically if your local currency differs from USD.
